Built in 1913, The Globe Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles is considered to be the oldest functioning theatre on Broadway. First opened to accommodate full-scale dramatic productions, this 27,000 square foot historic landmark is archived as the original Broadway Theatre in the United States. While it has undergone various incarnations over the years, the iconic site maintains the grandeur of its Beaux Arts architectural style. In 2013, the theatre underwent a five-year multi-million dollar renovation to introduce a new generation of entertainment to The Globe Theatre. Today, it is a state-of-the-art venue that can be used for any type of special event.
