About the Business:
The Palmer Home Bed & Breakfast, locally known as the Pink Palace, is one of the most famous houses in Charleston. This 18,000 square foot antebellum mansion completed its construction in 1849 by John Ravenel. This private home is now operated by third-generation owner, Francess Palmer. The house is furnished and decorated with antiques dating back 200 years.
The Palmer Home Bed & Breakfast has been in operation since 1977, and has spectular views of the Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter. We offer a full southern breakfast, daily, and an afternoon wine and cheese reception for all of our guests. We are located in the heart of the historic district, with ample off-street parking for our guests.
